Who You Are

Hold a current license to practice in Georgia (MSW, LMSW, LCSW, LAPC, LPC, LAMFT, LMFT, or PhD/PsyD)

WELLNESS COORDINATION INTERN

We help our clients transform external success into internal satisfaction by breaking generational patterns and creating sustainable wellness. Our approach goes beyond traditional therapy - we provide integrative support that addresses the full spectrum of our clients' lives.
Position Overview
We're seeking a motivated Bachelor's or Master's level student to join our team as a Wellness Coordination Intern.
In this role, you'll help our clients connect with vetted, culturally responsive healthcare providers across their wellness journey - from OBGYNs and primary care physicians to nutritionists and specialty providers.
This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in case management, healthcare navigation, community health, or integrated behavioral health to gain hands-on experience supporting Black women's holistic wellness.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct research to identify culturally responsive healthcare providers (OBGYNs, PCPs, nutritionists, mental health professionals, specialists) based on client needs
Vet providers using established criteria including cultural competency, location, insurance acceptance, and specialties
Create client-ready recommendations with provider details, contact information, and rationale for each referral
Maintain and expand our vetted provider database
Coordinate with provider offices for treatment reviews and appointment scheduling when requested
Provide brief follow-up support to ensure clients successfully connect with referrals
Track client feedback on provider recommendations to continuously improve our network
Support administrative tasks related to wellness coordination as needed
Qualifications
Required:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program (Social Work, Public Health, Psychology, Counseling, Health Administration, or related field)
Strong research and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Commitment to culturally responsive care and health equity
Proficiency with Google Workspace, email, and basic technology
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail
Reliable internet connection for remote work
Preferred:
Interest in Black women's health and wellness
Familiarity with Atlanta-area healthcare systems
Understanding of insurance networks and provider credentialing
Experience with healthcare navigation or case management

Time Commitment
10-15 hours per week

We're seeking 2 advanced clinical interns in the internship phase of their Master's program to provide individual therapy to clients under clinical supervision. This is an excellent opportunity to build your clinical skills while serving a specific, underserved population and gaining experience in private practice operations.
Our ideal candidates are passionate about culturally responsive care, interested in working with high-achieving individuals navigating burnout and generational patterns, and committed to holistic, integrative approaches to wellness.
Key Responsibilities
Provide individual therapy to clients
Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and develop treatment plans
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in TherapyNotes EHR system
Participate in weekly individual and/or group clinical supervision
Apply culturally responsive, trauma-informed therapeutic approaches
Collaborate with clinical team on client care and professional development
Complete required supervision hours per your program and licensure track requirements

Qualifications
Required:
Currently enrolled in the internship phase of a Master's program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Social Work (MSW), Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field
On track for licensure in Georgia (LPC, LCSW, LMFT)
Completed practicum and core clinical coursework
Strong clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning, and documentation
Commitment to culturally responsive, anti-oppressive practice
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency with telehealth platforms and EHR systems (or willingness to learn)
Reliable technology setup for virtual service delivery
Professional liability insurance (or program-provided coverage)
Preferred:
Experience or strong interest in working with Black women and families
Training in trauma-informed care, somatic approaches, or relational therapy
Understanding of generational trauma and systemic oppression's impact on mental health
Interest in private practice career path
Familiarity with TherapyNotes or similar EHR systems
Experience with high-achieving populations or burnout/stress management
Clinical Supervision
Weekly individual clinical supervision with licensed supervisor

Compensation Structure
Option 1: Revenue Share Model
65% of session fees paid to intern
Client rate: $75-85 per session (sliding scale for accessibility)
Example: 8 clients × 4 sessions/month × $80 avg × 65% = $1,664/month
10 clients at full caseload = $2,080/month
Option 2: Hourly + Stipend (if required by program)
Negotiable based on program requirements and funding availability
