The Fertility Journey Shouldn't Feel So Lonely
Lilly Mallette, M.Ed., NCC provides compassionate support for Black women navigating fertility challenges, pregnancy loss, and the emotional weight of the reproductive journey.
You Deserve Support That Understands
The fertility journey can feel isolating—the disappointing pregnancy tests, the well-meaning but painful questions from family, the grief that no one talks about, the financial stress, the toll on your relationship, the feeling that your body has betrayed you. As a Black woman, you may also carry the weight of cultural expectations, stereotypes about Black fertility, and the pressure to stay "strong" through it all.
You don't have to carry this alone.
I help Black women navigating:
Infertility and fertility treatment (IVF, IUI, etc.)
Pregnancy loss and recurrent miscarriage
Postpartum depression and anxiety
Maternal mental health concerns
The emotional toll of trying to conceive
Relationship strain during the fertility journey
Grief, trauma, and identity shifts related to reproduction
Deciding when to stop treatment or pursue other paths
My Background: Master's of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling | National Certified Counselor (NCC) | 4+ years experience supporting women through trauma, anxiety, depression, and reproductive challenges | Originally from Hinesville, Georgia | Supervised by Natasha Riley, LPC, CPCS
My Approach: I create a safe space where you can express the full range of emotions—anger, grief, hope, fear, exhaustion—without judgment. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and trauma-informed care, I help you process the emotional weight of your fertility journey while honoring your strength and resilience as a Black woman.
I understand that healing happens both personally and communally, especially for women of color whose reproductive experiences are often overlooked in traditional healthcare settings.
I also support women navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions—especially when these concerns intersect with reproductive health.
Sessions: Virtual throughout Georgia | Insurance and self-pay available
