Winter Solstice Experience: Your Bridge from Surviving 2025 to Thriving in 2026

December 20th, 2025 | 9am-3pm | Atlanta, Georgia

The Longest Night. The Sacred Pause. Your Transformation.

Winter Solstice marks the longest night of the year—the moment when darkness peaks before light begins its return. For centuries, cultures worldwide have honored this sacred pause as a time of deep reflection, release, and renewal.

For high-achieving Black women who've spent 2025 pushing through, showing up strong, and carrying the weight of expectations, this day is your permission slip to finally rest.

This Isn't Just Another Event

Winter Solstice Experience is a full-day immersive retreat designed exclusively for Black women ready to:

Release what 2025 demanded that was never yours to carry
Reconnect with your body's wisdom through somatic healing and gentle movement
Remember your authentic desires underneath all the "shoulds"
Rest deeply without guilt, apology, or having to earn it
Set intentions (not resolutions) aligned with who you're becoming
Start 2026 from overflow, not depletion

What Happens During Your Day

Morning: Release & Reconnection (9am-12pm)

  • Welcome ritual and grounding practices

  • Mind dump exercise (release mental clutter)

  • Guided meditation for deep relaxation

  • Somatic movement to reconnect with your body

  • Sound healing session (calm your nervous system)

Midday: Nourishment & Restoration (12pm-1pm)

  • Gentle yin yoga (release stored tension)

  • Release rituals (let go of what no longer serves)

  • Intention-setting ceremony (not resolutions—soul alignment)

  • Integration practices and closing circle

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I've never done anything like this. Will I feel out of place?
A: Most attendees haven't. We meet you exactly where you are. No experience with yoga, meditation, or "retreat stuff" required.

Q: Do I have to share personal things out loud?
A: Only if you want to. Many exercises are private reflection. You control your level of participation.

Q: What if I can't do yoga or certain movements?
A: Everything is adaptable to your body. We offer modifications and alternatives. Movement is invitation, not obligation.

Q: Can I bring a friend?
A: Absolutely! You each need to register individually, but coming with a friend/sister is welcome.

Q: Will this be recorded or photographed?
A: We take a few group photos (optional participation). Individual sharing and personal moments are never recorded. Your privacy is sacred.

Q: What makes this different from other retreats?
A: Three things: (1) Culturally responsive—designed BY and FOR Black women, (2) Intimate size—max 10 women for real connection, (3) Integration focus—you leave with tools, not just inspiration.
